Chapel Space
The Wesley Centre previously comprised the Upper and Lower Halls.
However, we are now pleased to have our Lower Hall occupied by the Harrogate Homeless Project’s day centre, Springboard, so our ‘Upper Hall’ ie the Chapel, is the area that is available to hire along with our refurbished kitchen and foyer.
This stunning galleried space offers plenty of room and flexible seating – ideal for meetings, events, exhibitions, theatre performances and concerts.
It has comfortable chairs and an oak floor. GoPak tables are available. We have a sound desk and AV equipment. Our prized Yamaha Concert Grand Piano can be used by arrangement.
Access is from Oxford Street, via steps or a ramp.
Capacity: Upper Hall: 190 seated, 300 standing.
Gallery: 170 seated, 370 standing.

Foyer and Kitchen
Perfect for coffee mornings and informal get-togethers, this space features seating for 20 people plus kitchen facilities for hot drinks and snacks.
The carpeted area is suitable for small gatherings. The integral kitchen has a hot water boiler, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, four-ring hob and double oven, microwave and coffee maker.
There is good access from Oxford Street and excellent visibility to attract passing trade. The Foyer is popular with organisations who want to fundraise through refreshment days.
